13 countries from three continents have entered the 15th U19 Junior World Cup 2010 in Leek (NED). This semi-official international korfball tournament for players under 19 will be held in Sports Centre Leek from 1 – 4 April 2010 and is patronised by International Korfball Federation (IKF). Among competing nations are the 12 best countries of the world. The Junior Talent Team of Dutch District North completes the number of competitors. This team is playing out of competition.

For the first two days, the 14 teams will battle for rankings in two pools, playing six games each. On the last day teams after semi-finals will play their last game to determine their final placing in the tournament. Winners of 2009 tournament were the Netherlands. 

The drawing of lots resulted in the following groupings:
Group A:     Belgium, England, Catalonia, Russia, South Africa, Romania and Portugal.
Group B:      the Netherlands, Chinese Taipei, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Junior Talent Team District North.
