![]() In the Topsports centre we are talking to 17 year old Kacper Novar, a talented player, this year competing for the first time in the U19jwc for the polish team. It isn't his first international tournament, he has visited Holland twice in Schijndel, during the U16JWC, it was a great experience to him. Here in Leek he is very surprised in the positive way. There is a great difference in organization. "This is really professional" he says, very enthusiastic. He was surprised that dutch television was present as well. This kind of media attention is not known in Poland. "This is a large scale tournament, the opening ceremony was beautiful, I haven't experienced anything like this before, he says, again very enthusiastic.
Kacper came into contact with korfball during high school, and since three years he makes a regular appearance in national and international selections. You can see he enjoys it very much and this trip is a good learning experience. Kacper and his team just played the first game against the Czech team, "we lost, but that is because the Czech team is more experienced, and through games like this we learn very much. We do our utmost best to make it a good tournament for our team". On the picture kacper nowar and our translator Andrzej Witaszyr. |
