The 15^th edition of the Junior World Cup is past and the new edition is already planned.

 

After the U19 JWC tournament, a word of thanks to all the teams and volunteers.

For the organizing clubs Sparta, OWK and Rodenburg, it was the first time we had the honor to organize this international event. We as organizers have enjoyed the atmosphere, fair play and attractive matches between all the teams. A lot of youngsters have returned home with a bag pack full of korfball memories and experiences. We hope that they take this experience further along and inspire others to aim together to get more players and experience in the national and international korfball. It also took the Netherlands a long time as well to reach the current level of korfball. From that point of view it has been worth all the efforts to organize this great event.

When listening to all the compliments of the teams, audience, volunteers and officials, we as organization committee can conclude that our first attempt has been a successful one and we plan to make it an even bigger, more exciting and greater tournament in 2011.

 

Speaking on behalf of the organization, we all hope to see you again next year at the JWC 2011. We will try to make even more countries compete in this big international tournament. The 16^th edition of U19 JWC will be held in Leek, during the Easter weekend 2011, 21-24 April.
