In a packed hall, the audience, many enthusiastic youth members and all teams representing their countries, enjoyed the opening to the fullest at the first evening of U19JWC. In a flashy speed the teams presented themselves to the audience after which the mayor, B. Hoekstra, gave an official touch to the tournament. With a sparkling gymnastic demonstration performed by members of TIGA from Leek, the sportive part of the evening was started. Then everybody could enjoy an exhibition match between the complete selection of Nic. against a selection of OWK, Rodenburg and Sparta.
