The International Junior World Cup under 19 is taking place in the Sports Center in Leek during Easter Weekend from the 1st to the 4th of April . This International Event wishes to involve the Junior Regional Korfballers and thanks to the Korfball Support Foundation together with the group ‘Youth in Motion‘ from the Sparta, OWK and Rodenburg clubs, they are organizing two clinics . The Northern A and B Junior Korfball teams will have a chance to experience Top Korfball.

13 countries from three continents have entered the 15th U19 Junior World Cup 2010 in Leek (NED). This semi-official international korfball tournament for players under 19 will be held in Sports Centre Leek from 1 – 4 April 2010 and is patronised by International Korfball Federation (IKF). Among competing nations are the 12 best countries of the world. The Junior Talent Team of Dutch District North completes the number of competitors. This team is playing out of competition.

U19 Junior World Cup 2010/ 15th International Korfball Tournament in Leek

Hierbij willen wij als organisatie van het U19 Junior World Cup 2010 U uitnodigen om de officiële loting van dit internationale toernooi bij te wonen a.s. maandag 8 februari om 19.30 uur in het Sportcentrum te Leek.

Het U19 Junior World Cup is een korfbaltoernooi voor spelers en speelsters onder de negentien jaar uit een groot aantal ervaren korfballanden in Europa, maar ook uit nieuwe korfballanden ver daarbuiten. Het U19 JWC bestaat sinds 1996 en wordt jaarlijks in één van de drie noordelijke provincies georganiseerd. Vandaag de dag is het U19 JWC het grootste jaarlijkse semi officiële internationale korfbaltoernooi voor jeugdlandenteams tot 19 jaar. Het toernooi staat onder auspiciën van de Internationale Korfball Federation (IKF) en duurt drie dagen.
