Beforehand it was already a clear case that JTT East would play against JTT North competing for 13th and 14th in the ranking.
Both teams played as non competitive participants, but were able to learn a lot these past few days, competing against international teams. In a thrilling match, JTT East performed a little better than the Northern Top players resulting in a win of 15-11.

The Belgium team started very careless, resulting in easily scored goals by Chinese Taipei. The Belgium team, which was eager to play the final, did go all out to fight back. This lead to a very exciting game, in which the Belgium team were overtaken by events. Chinese Taipei continued scoring en won by their good shots.
The Dutch team knew no difficulties against Portugal. |

The second round showed teams well-matched to each other.
Despite their korfball experience, Spain couldn't handle the Czech team, whose shots were very good and precise.
England and Germany made their game very exciting. They scored every other one, carrying the audience away with the excitement of their game. However the English team was more lucky, winning in the last second. |

The first cross matches of the day started with enthusiastic and fit players.
In hall 1 South Africa made it a difficult game for Hungary. Hungary, however, won 8-3.
In the match between Poland and Rumania, Poland outclassed Rumania, despite the enthusiasm of the Rumanian players.

 The Westerkwartier has turned into an international orientated region. After strenuous games, players, coaches, team managers, drivers and translators of different countries can rest and find new inspiration while staying with their Dutch host family.
At first everyone is not quit used to the situation, what kind of people are we dealing with? Is there a 'click'. What is their favorite thing to eat, what kind of lunch do they need?
