The Polish team consists of players from the two best junior club teams: Maratończyk Sanitec Koło and Hetman Sosnówka. They compete with and against each other in juniors, but they are one team as a national squad. It was tried to make a junior national team participating in the seniors league, but came in on last position last season. However, they improved and during the 2009/2010 season, they won with Polish Champion MegaSports Warszawa and both matches against AZS Poznań, so they have a good chance of making a surprise at the end of the season. The Polish National Team U 19 meets in training camps twice a year; during the summer in Kortowo (Olsztyn) and during winter in Kolo. Both times they received great help from Rudy Ramaekers (BEL) who motivated them to train hard. The team also participates in the Visegrad Tournament in Prievidza (Slovakia) every year where they compete with Hungary and Slovakia.
